Hello folks. Voice from the past here. Haven't gotten to meetings for a
while but still lurking, glad to see the group is chugging along.
Question came up among some folks I know & I am not sure of a current
answer. My hands are much better, and I haven't updated my voice software
for a while.
These people have on hand some old interview tapes that they want to
transcribe. Back in the Paleozoic, when I used to answer questions for BVU,
the available software (a) was not very good at tape transcription, and (b)
could only deal with one user at a time. There seems to be an impression
that it's gotten a lot better and perhaps might be useful for transcribing
the tapes.
Is there any truth to this?
Many thanks for any answers.
